About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CRO and Data Specialist to join our dynamic ecommerce agency. In this role, you will be at the forefront of optimising our clients' ecommerce customer experience (CX) by managing, testing, and implementing key conversion points. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire end-to-end Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) process, which includes a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution across A/B testing and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit clients’ sites to benchmark them against competitors, review analytics, and provide reports and recommendations.
  • Manage and optimise critical conversion points within the ecommerce funnel.
  • Lead A/B testing efforts and continually measure and refine the performance of CTAs.
  • Drive improvements in the lead-to-customer conversion rate and overall funnel efficiency.
  • Conduct in-depth research on client data and user behaviour using tools such as Google Analytics, HotJar, and others to provide actionable insights.
  • Execute the full A/B testing process, from ideation to post-test analysis, ensuring data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, managing stakeholder expectations and delivering clear, data-backed recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain roadmaps for client initiatives within retainer agreements.
  • Work alongside our UX and UI Designers to ensure that concepts are aligned with conversion best practices.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a CRO-focused role.
  • 3+ years of experience in a data-centric role.
  • 2+ years of experience within the ecommerce sector.
  • Proficiency in time management and organisation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with A/B and split testing.
  • Strong background in analytics and data interpretation.
  • Experience in UX wireframing and understanding of UX best practices.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience working in an agency environment.
  • Background in design.
  • Experience with Shopify.
