As a QA..

Responsible for ensuring quality across Shopify storefronts, themes, apps, and integrations. Oversees the full testing lifecycle planning, execution, and reporting to deliver bug-free, high-performing, and user-friendly solutions. Works closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to maintain Shopify standards.

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly...no pressure!

  1. Review and analyse system specifications
  2. Execute test cases (manual) and analyse results
  3. Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  4. Design review using cross-browser testing
  5. Report bugs and errors to development teams
  6. Help troubleshoot issues
  7. Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
  8. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  9. Collating audits and recommendations on the speed of sites

Requirements and skills

  • 4+ Years experience as a Quality Assurance Tester
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • High Level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • MUST BE EXPERIENCE WITH SHOPIFY AND TESTING THE SHOPIFY CUSTOMISER
  • Appreciation and understanding of good user experience
  • Ability to learn and retain knowledge of complex workflows and systems
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of software or web testing, and bug management practice
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Attention to detail
