How WIRO Transformed Elevare into the Middle East’s Top Wellness Marketplace

Elevare Market is a visionary wellness startup based in Doha, Qatar, founded by Muneera Al-Khayat, that’s redefining how the Middle East shops for organic groceries, clean supplements, and sustainable home goods. Built around education, accessibility, and conscious living, Elevare set out to create not just a store but a lifestyle movement across the GCC region.

When Elevare partnered with WIRO, the brand was midway through a fragmented WooCommerce build, lacking cohesion across strategy, UX, and technology. WIRO was tasked with transforming this disjointed foundation into a scalable, bilingual Shopify ecosystem optimised for growth, subscriptions and storytelling.

Client Objectives & Growth Goals

Elevare’s ambition was to create the Middle East’s first content-driven wellness marketplace, blending editorial storytelling with seamless commerce. Their goals included:

  • Unifying the build under one partner strategy, UX, design, and development.
  • Scaling regionally across Arabic and English audiences with a single storefront.
  • Integrating subscription-based selling for consumable wellness products.
  • Enhancing customer experience (CX) through personalised education and discovery-led shopping.
  • Establishing operational scalability, including warehousing, delivery, and regional payment integrations.
  • Positioning Elevare as a trusted, premium alternative to established global players like iHerb.
Challenges

When WIRO joined, the project was at a critical turning point:

  • Fragmented ownership across agencies WooCommerce developers, Arabic translators, and internal teams working without alignment.
  • Limited scalability and performance from WooCommerce, especially for recurring orders and custom checkout logic.
  • Lack of regional readiness, with no integration for GCC payment gateways or Arabic localisation.
  • High manual workload on Elevare’s internal team due to disjointed categorisation, unclear product hierarchy, and siloed documentation.
  • Unclear UX direction generic templates failed to differentiate the brand in a competitive market.
  • No clear launch roadmap or framework for future scalability.
WIRO’s Approach & Process

WIRO implemented a centralised Shopify-first strategy, replacing complexity with clarity and scalability. Our process was structured across four pillars: Strategy, CX, Performance, and Scalability.

Discovery & Requirements Mapping

  • Conducted a CX audit of existing concepts and competitor sites.
  • Consolidated stakeholder insights, user personas, and brand documentation into a single requirements framework.
  • Mapped technical needs including subscriptions, delivery scheduling, warehousing, and payment gateways (Checkout.com for Apple Pay support).
  • Developed a localisation strategy using Shopify Markets and Translate & Adapt enabling dual-language (Arabic & English) experiences within one codebase.

Wireframing & UX Strategy

WIRO’s design team tackled Elevare’s key UX challenges content density, bilingual navigation, and educational storytelling by building a component-based IA in Figma.

  • Shopable Education Sections: Embedded editorial content linking directly to products (e.g., “Why Magnesium Matters” → Product Grid).
  • Split Navigation Models: Custom right-to-left UX for Arabic users, reflecting regional content priorities and purchase patterns.
  • Dynamic Category Hierarchies: SEO-driven product filtering (organic, vegan, gluten-free) supported by template-based landing pages.
